Pumarinri Amazon Lodge is located in a privileged location on the banks of the huallaga river, in the canyon that will take you to cross the last foothills of the eastern Andes. The property has 62 acres of reserve, covered with forests and furrowed by rivers and streams.
The Pumarinri has the peculiarity of being a biological bridge, being located at the confluence of the Cerro Escalera Regional Conservation Area and the Cordillera Azul National Park. In addition, three ecosystems of very different characteristics occur alternately along the Huallaga River: the tropical dry forest, the high mountain forest and the low Amazon of the Amazon plain.
The Pumarinri Amazon Lodge is designed following criteria of good environmental practices. With fourteen spacious rooms with terrace or balcony, it offers the best comfort in the middle of the jungle. Water is a very important element: from the white beaches of Huallaga to the fresh streams of Yuracyacu, forming refreshing swimming pools, everything is an invitation to a bath.
Excursions and peruvian amazon trips can be made by land or river, using different types of boats. The area has a great diversity of birds, butterflies and amphibians, which can be observed on the trails of the lodge or on walks to the forest, waterfalls or native communities.
